Merry Christmas!

December 24, 2019UncategorizedBy Riley Britton

It seems like only a couple months ago that I wrote my last letter to Santa. Suddenly tis the season for Christmas trees, candles, and big red bows on gifts.

The holidays present us with another gift. An opportunity to turn off the screens and spend quality time in our community, with family and our friends. A deep conversation, long laugh and taking a moment away from our routine to be with others will last longer than shiny package under the Christmas tree.

Remember to Be Fire Smart During the Holidays

Winter holidays are a time for gathering with family and friends and excitement. As a reminder when you deck the halls this holiday season, be fire smart. Holiday decorations, and candles all contribute to an increased risk of house fires during the colder months. Please review the following tips from NFPA to help protect against fire hazards in your home.

Carefully decorating your home can help make your holidays safer. As a reminder Christmas trees dry out the longer they remain in the home. NFPA statistics indicate that nearly 40 percent of home fires that begin with Christmas trees occurred in January. Please review these homeowner tips to help prevent electrical and fire hazards in your home.

Thank you for your continued support of our local family business and loyalty every year. You are appreciated.

We wish y’all a safe and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & Prosperous New Year! And of course, Peace on earth.
